Is it possible there is more going on in our world and in our lives than our mind-numbing routines?

Are there a reasons television audiences in North America were told, “Don’t Read!”?

Life and blogging are curious things. Time and change have been so rampant these past months that I start blog posts with a train of thought in mind and by the time I’m able to finish it … things have changed.

I feel a real empathy for those people who have yet to awaken from their unconscious stumble through illusion. The fact is, this whole world is gearing up for a massive change. The alignment of multiple thousand year cycles creates an opening for change and the beginning of a new cycle. Around the point on our calendars we term December 21, 2012, this quantum change will occur.

There is so much about this event that the average person is unaware of. While there exists plenty of alarm and fear around global warming, these things are akin to a runny nose compared to the effects of the Shift. Global warming is not something humans are responsible for because it is part of these natural Earth cycles. We are responsible for accelerating this natural process by 50-100 years with our pollution but we didn’t create it. In fact, the warming effect we are experiencing now is what happens before every ice age. It’s a paradox to think things warm up before they freeze up, but they do. No human lives long enough to witness the whole ice age cycle so we don’t recognize the symptoms.

Back to the Shift, this event of change is gargantuan in proportion! The great cosmic wheels are aligning for the shift of the ages. Each of us is fulfilling prophesy as we are guided to resolve duality, activate ancient energies and integrate cosmic forces, the like of which the Earth has never before experienced. The magnitude of this phenomenon is incomprehensible to the human mind.

Prophecy can only be received on Earth from the God Source when these cosmic astrological forces align, opening passageways to creation forces. That is why the ancients built their temples to align with cosmic forces. Prophecy can only be received through these passageways. The previous prophecies spoke of these being the ‘End Times’ or the ‘Apocalypse.’ The reason the Mayan calendar ends on Dec.21, 2012 is because they knew it was the end of the cycle. They knew that Source was going to shake up the etch-a-sketch called Creation and tweak the source code. And thus, a new prophesy will be delivered.

Prophesy is an interpretation of the volition of creation as it is received on the level of physical manifestation. The energies of creation are then translated to thought forms that anchor the psyche of the God man, the man God, to the psyche of human creative potential. Ultimately, this is why ancient text refers to man as being made in the image of God. This is the key that da Vinci discovered and gave to humanity through the image of the da Vinci man.

Humanity is invited to engage with the creation forces as cocreators with the mind of God, which is the source of all manifestation. The great shift is a time when powerful structures and existing archetypal energies are challenged. A moving away of old ways of doing things and clearing of the historical fields are creating an opportunity for new forms unprecedented in the history of the Earth. It was during one of these great cycles of alignments that humans began using fire and also during which the discovery of the wheel was made.

The will of Creator is manifest then through the high mind of man. This is done on faith and faith alone with surrender to the ultimate will of Creator in the purest sense. The great prophets of all cultures were able to engage in this creative synergism with the God force. Their prophesies were passed down through the great books of knowledge and wisdom affecting human culture throughout the ages. Throughout the ages these precious gifts were manipulated by power structures for greed and gain influencing Earth’s history. However, the purity of the vibration received by the prophets could not be adversely affected. The power of these gifts from prophecy were stored in the archives of our planet awaiting the coming of what is called the End Times. The time is now.

In spite of my anger, I understand that what I resist, persists. It’s kind of like a “war on terror” that actually creates a persistent terrorist issue. Which is precisely what the cabal want, an persistent endless war that could take them anywhere in the world. “Them damn terrorists could be in any country, therefore we’ll have to protect (read: control) all countries. Perhaps a worldwide government is in order. First, we’ll create regional unions with central control like the European Union and then we’ll just synchronize all the laws and maybe one army, like the UN.”

The compulsion to feel fear and rail against the controllers is strong, but likely, not my best strategy. The other half of me wants to think little about the machine and controllers and focus my energy on what I desire in my life, my family, and my world to become.

Instead of resisting and ensuring the persistence of that undesirable thing I’m feeding energy to; I must find gratitude for what and who I am now. To think instead, about creating something: a song, a painting, a business, a relationship … something benign and nourishing for myself and others.

I guess the point I’m trying to make is to be pro-peace vs. anti-war.

Focus on what you want.

What we focus on, we feed energy to, positive or negative.

So, we need to feel gratitude, be thankful for what we have and envision, ask, and act toward the things we want in our life. The nasties will blow themselves up soon enough and I’ll be dancing around singing, “The witch is dead, the witch is dead.”

Conventional wisdom is often the spun, sanitized, mythological “news” spoon-fed to us by major media. The unconventional wisdom requires an effort to look around and through the pablum thrust in our faces. Seek alternative perspectives and then choose for yourself what “rings true” for you.

Not prolific, but consistent.

I can just feel my media empire growing by leaps and bounds.

Time has zipped by since my Burning Man experience and a few things besides playa dust have stuck with me. The week I was there I did not witness one altercation of any kind, not a harsh word, bike collision, fist fight … nothing, not one. It amazed me at the time; bikes, pedestrians, and art cars zipping about in all directions with no signs, lines or signals to guide and yet, no accidents.

Another observation was kind of shocking: unbeknown to anyone at Camp Clueless (my camp) an unfortunate event occurred; only a couple hundred feet away or less, someone chose to commit suicide by hanging them self in some hapless third parties’ geodesic dome. The shocking thing was, thanks to CNN and all, everyone in North America heard about this event before we did.

We saw and heard nothing. We had no idea this had transpired within feet of us, we walked past that camp numerous times. It wasn’t until we heard about it two or three days later from someone else who said it was all over CNN. We were dumbfounded how we could miss the sheriff’s trucks, ambulance, removing the body, people who had been walking past mentioning something going on, but we heard and saw nothing.

There is something to be said for being disconnect from the media: no phone, no internet, no tv, no cable, no radio. You miss ALL the bad news. Something could (did) happen right under your nose and without the media bringing our attention to every nasty detail, could be sweetly oblivious. No news is good news.

Obviously, whatever happened at that camp, we did not need to know.

I’m thankful.

Speaking of thanks, thanks to an inability to read, I was unable to scratch my ‘wanna go back’ Burning Man itch at a much anticipated After Burn party. I was all prepared to attend the day after the actual event. Highly impractical, I don’t recommend it. Pink fur and glow sticks on a Saturday night, downtown east side Van is … well, looking for adventure.

I failed to post in August entirely as it was a busy month. The pinnacle of that busy-ness was my virginal (not vaginal) experience of the Burning Man Project in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada.

Most attendees are at a loss to describe the experience in words, those that try … fail miserably.

Watch me fail.

To me, Burning Man is a Vegas, Mardi Gras, Halloween, Carnival, Circus, Rave, Artshow, Bike Rally, Masquarade, University, Healing Party for urbanites in a neanderthal style.

My new motto: What doesn’t kill you will force you to live more artfully.

Did I mention fun? OMG … if you can’t find something fun here you should be in a pine box.

Did I mention a lot of work? Yep, it is a lot of work, especially the long drive (Canadian West Coast.)

Did I mention the value? Immense value, impossible to calculate.

One of the most enjoyable parts of BM was diversity. The innumerable ways people found to accomplish the same basic tasks like: shelter, nourishment, libation, transport (just the bike decorating/lighting alone demonstrated our uniqueness in full colour), and clothing.

Burning Man is a delicious interactive spectacle of diversity.

I’m not sure what more I can say without watering it down … after a couple days we made pacts to limit our seemingly continual use of the words, “wow” and “cool.” We failed.

I must continue compression of my Self into the confines of “normal” society but hereby pledge to be far more consistent in writing posts to Twilight Futures.

As such, our future is the result of our thoughts in the Now. Every thought we have today will have an impact or “in-form” our future. Therefore, our future is a twilight state. In a state of change and, as yet, un-manifested. 

This weblog is devoted to the thoughts, words & acts of inventing our benevolent future for the highest good of all.

I’ll explore ways and means to dream and thus, manifest our dreams.

These things I know:

There is enough.

Life is supposed to be fun.

We are all part of the same living thing … life and all life is.

My predominant interests are a sustainable abundance of the most basic resources for ALL life; these include: water, energy, food, shelter, and touch; plus, the necessary clothing and transportation.

How do we provide these to all humans without killing everything else?

This is our task.

In addition, I will focus on the tools of creation of which art, music, literature and dance play significant roles. Let us have alot of fun and create useful, beautiful, benign, and benevolent things.

SOCAN has announced their new focus and urges hairdressers who play Canadian music to pay their royalties or feel the wrath.

I like to see artists of all kinds get paid for their work, especially after most of the prime movers and trailblazers of the 50′s, 60′s & 70′s got screwed out of the rights to their work. Not to mention the royalties. To this day many of them still fight or their heirs do. Frank Zappa and David Bowie were among the pioneers in the effort to own and distribute your own material.

The opportunity I see in these cases (dentists, hairdressers, coffeeshops) is to hire local musicians to write and create ”custom” house music. It may cost them more in the short term but if the musician sells them the rights to use it exclusively … who can complain?

The musician can then garner fans for their “other” (read: for sale) material from salon patrons.

Or small business owners could create an agreement to play local original music with various performers that has not been published or under the mandate of SOCAN. Create compilation disks or samplers for salons to play either for free or a small fee.

Necessity is the mother of invention. If you don’t like someone dictating what you do or how much you pay … work around it, without breaking the law.

Perhaps ALL Canadian music falls under the powers of SOCAN, I don’t know. There are many sides to every story and here SOCAN tries to educate creative types about posting intellectual property online.

I believe an opportunity exists for something better to come of this phenomenon, I can smell it.

This, my loyal readers … is the real slow part.

 I wanted to start a blog, to understand how its done and what is involved.

So be it. Poof! The universe responds.

 I have been working for some time on a massive project involving both for-profit and non-profit organizations. They are symbiotic and ultimately will create and deliver solutions to some of the worlds biggest concerns.

Think: life and liberty.
